Great things to do around us
Tatton Park
Tatton Park is one of the UK’s most complete historic estates. It is home to a Tudor Old Hall, Neo-Classical Mansion, 50 acres of landscaped gardens. With lavish gardens, deer park and playground, it’s a great day out!
Treacle Market
A bustling monthly market in Macclesfield’s cobbled Marketplace and streets around. 150 + stalls of unique crafts, exceptional food & drink and vintage finds.
Jodrell Bank
Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre is a must-visit for anyone who loves science and space. Its famous Lovell Telescope has featured in television and films and there’s plenty to see, do and learn. A brilliant family-friendly day out.
White Nancy
White Nancy is a historical landmark that looks out over Bollington at the top of Kerridge Hill. It’s a brilliant walk with stunning views as a reward when you reach the summit with some Instagram worthy shots.
Teggs Nose
Tegg’s Nose Country Park offers brilliant walks, cycling routes and great activities throughout the year. On a clear day, you can see the Welsh hills and Liverpool’s cathedrals. It’s easily accessed from Macc Forest trails.
Macclesfield Forest
If you’re looking for the perfect dog walk, hiking route or cycle trail, look no further than Macclesfield Forest. Your reward for exploring is beautiful scenery against the backdrop of its four reservoirs.
